Manortown United FC are proud to announce that we have achieved the FAI Club Mark One Star Award.  The FAI Club Mark is an award for grassroots clubs based on best practice in their management and administration. The programme aims to support and encourage clubs to improve standards off the field with the result of having stronger clubs and a stronger game. As an FAI Club Mark One Star club, Manortown United FC have demonstrated a consistent and high standard of:

-  Child Welfare, Safeguarding & Coach Education

-  Club Player Development Plan

-  Club Coaching Structure

-  Engagement with FAI programs

Achieving this award is no small task, and it stands as a testament to the commitment and dedication that define our club.  While this recognition belongs to everyone involved in the club, it is impossible to overlook the exceptional contribution of Mike Kennedy. Mike’s leadership, organisation, and tireless attention to detail were central to guiding the club through every stage of the Club Mark process. 

Mike’s commitment has strengthened the club in a lasting way, creating a safer, more structured, and more supportive environment for all our players, coaches, and volunteers. The FAI Club Mark One Star Award is a reflection not only of our club’s values, but also of individuals like Mike who work behind the scenes to turn those values into reality. We are deeply grateful for his outstanding effort and dedication.
